It's Daniel Thomson's original MPH design, derived from his interest in mathematical formulas and geometric principles. It set surfing and kiting on fire years ago, and the Vanguard remains in FireWire's kiteboard line with just as much hype as it's always had.
This shape maximizes upwind capabilities and provides an incredibly stable platform preferred by many riders. It's extremely predictable in its feel and creates down the line drive with speed to spare. It's our best board for those transitioning from traditional kiteboards to surf style boards.
